Speakers
Ning is a bioinformatics scientist at Arcus Biosciences, where he leads bioinformatics analysis of one core immuno-oncology drug development program. During his PhD, he studied with systems biology pioneer Professor Alexander Hoffmann at UCLA, where he built up computational framework to identify synergy between signaling pathways in immune cells. Ning is a serial entrepreneur and founded two startups: i) TopApply, an online essay editing website with team size more than twenty, and ii) CellMaps, a tech driven startup that integrates multi source of data to generate predictive models for drug response.
Ning holds a B.E. in Electronic Information Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China and a PhD in Bioinformatics from UCLA.
