The mission of this forum is to provide an attractive platform for entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, executives, and students to promote life sciences, biotechnology, and alliances across the biomedical industry in Southern California and Pacific Asia.
The annual biomedical forum is one of the flagship events organized by SABPA OC/LA, which gathered elite speakers and attracted around 200 attendees and 16 event sponsors in 2018. Last year events featured two world-renowned keynote speakers from academia and industry. Dr. Cun-Yu Wang, professor of UCLA and member of National Academy of Medicine and foreign member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Dr. Ian Critchley, Vice President of Clinical Microbiology at Allergan.
We have invited two keynote speakers for the upcoming 14th SABPA annual biomedical forum in 2019: Dr. Lee Sun, Vice President of R&D at CeloNova BioSciences, supervising interventional cardiology product development, and Dr. Fan-Gang Zeng, professor at UCI who has authored over 200 publications and raised over $100M for six medical device and AI companies.
The speakers will also include FDA officer, Lawyer, Medical Device Company Executive, University Professor, and Recruiting executive.
The event participants will include scientists, entrepreneurs, and hiring managers from local pharmaceutical, medical device and CRO companies as well as well-known professors, research scientists and students from local universities.
